This place in my eyes is for people who love brussels comics. Me and my partner did not enjoy it as we felt It was not worth the money. We we're in there 15mins! I would save you're money. I believe it used to be a popular store at one time. It has 3 or 4 levels all dedicated to the world of comics. You will find rarities together with explanations on how these comics came to life, from Tintin to Gil Jourdan, Les Tuniques Bleues, Bob et Bobette, and others. Ideal if you are a fan, interesting if you are just open minded and curious. There is an entrance fee which I thought was a bit high, and there is a very interesting gift shop on the ground level on the way out. I could have spent hours looking at all they have there, however, it was fifteen minutes away from the closing time and they started turning lights off gradually, a nice way to tell visitors and customers they need to leave because the staff will not stay overtime.
The place was packed, but they didn't care the least.

L'heure c'est l'heure, and that is probably why Europe is doing so poorly. Imagine, you have customers and potential buyers and you invite them to leave before they complete their purchases I did have time to buy a couple of things but could not buy marvelous posters they have for sale because they had already closed the cash register. Amazing don't you think.
I guess I will have to come back next time I am in Brussels and try to come in the middle of the day, just to make sure I don't cause them too much inconvenience.

Don't miss out the grave yard next to it that contains an sculpture of the Thinker by Godin. Many others beautiful sculptures. From there you can walk mostly across parks to the Atomium.
