Like many others are saying, paying at the bike station is a scam. I tried to pay to rent a bike and the machine told me my card declined and the transaction failed and I did not get a ticket or was able to bike. My friend then tried their card to see if it would work. Again the transaction 'failed' so we did not end up getting bikes. When I called the company they said they no longer rent bikes on the pay machine and I'd have to call my bank to deal with it.
Very suspicious how they still charge the credit card even after saying it did not work and not getting a ticket to bike. Absolutely do not try this bike service.
